About “the Loon”
The Laughing Loon Tavern is located on the ground floor of The Woods Inn.
The Tavern opens at 4:00 PM daily during the summer, (closed on Wednesdays).
Our upscale tavern menu including gluten free fish tacos, grilled chicken wings and the best artisan pizza is served until 10:30 PM each evening.
Tin ceilings and the original bar reflect the history of the tavern. Your favorite beer, a primo scotch and a bartender who makes a killer martini will keep you coming back.
Of course, the overall Adirondack spirit, the pool table and game boards will entice you too.
Happy Hour
We all need a place to relax after work, so why not do it with a drink in your hand? Join us for Happy Hour every weekday from 5pm-7pm!
Live Music
Our local music scene is popping and we wanted to showcase some of the best talent around. Come by on Thursday evenings to enjoy live music. Who knows, maybe you'll find your new favorite band!
Pool and Darts
What bar would be complete without a few games to blow off steam? After you grab a drink, feel free to ask any of our staff to borrow a pool cue or set of darts and play away!
